The Constantinople hard fork on the Ethereum network will probably be activated at the end of February. This decision was made during a conference call on the morning of January 18.
The Ethereum developers proposed carrying out the transition of the network to the new software between February 26 and 28, at block 7280000. Note that the developers excluded the implementation of the problematic EIP-1283 in the upcoming update. Vitalik Buterin, Hudson Jameson, Afri Schoedon and other leading representatives of the Ethereum community took part in the conference.
The planned upgrade of the Ethereum network called Constantinople was postponed indefinitely after a critical vulnerability in one of the improvements was discovered by the company ChainSecurity.
